rally for ryan carnival
A member of the KSUCPM family, Ryan Hippler was diagnosed with stage III
abdominal cancer. Because of the demanding treatment of the cancer, he was
forced to drop out of school and lost his health insurance. KSUCPM wanted to
rally together as a family to help support Ryan. School clubs were given the
opportunity to run and coordinate carnival stands in order to raise funds.
Additionally, there was a dunk tank brought in where those attending were able
to dunk several students as well as the dean of the school, Dr. Boike. Tickets
were purchased for $1 per ticket and most carnival stands charged one ticket per
play. Over $1600 was generated from ticket sales and over $3000 in total
donations was given to Ryan.
